Our prices are for the entire cottage and start at just £92 per night with a minimum 3 night booking. We accept all major credit and debit cards and our online booking process is simple, secure and hassle-free. Please use the Booking Request form above which shows real-time availability.
Sleeps 4
With two equal-sized bedrooms, the cottage can accommodate a couple in a double bed, and the second bedroom converts from a twin to a double. Just let us know which layout you prefer.
Internet Access
There is free Wi-Fi, just in case you need to contact the office, but don’t forget to switch off and relax too!
Private Courtyard Garden
A beautiful, sheltered courtyard garden behind the cottage provides ample space to eat outside. Quiet and secluded, it offers a peaceful escape from the bustle of the town.
Wood burning stove
Landgate Cottage features a wood burning stove which is fuelled by logs from our own woods, making it permanently cosy and a real home-from-home.
Luxurious Bath & Shower
The well-equipped family bathroom is shared by both bedrooms and features a bath, luxurious shower, basin and WC. Heated towel rails ensure your soft towels are always warm and ready for use.
Entertainment
A smart TV is provided in the sitting room, along with board games and playing cards in case of rainy days. There is a second TV/DVD player in the double bedroom and a small selection of DVDs.
Traditional Kitchen
The cosy kitchen has comfortable dining space for four people and opens out onto the courtyard, allowing plenty of fresh air in. It is equipped with an electric oven and hobs, microwave, fridge-freezer, traditional Belfast sink and all the cooking equipment you could need!
Street Parking
Street parking is available outside the cottage and there are long term car parks just 150 metres away. The Rye Market car park on Rope Walk is the closest.
Dishwasher and laundry
A full-size dishwasher is provided. A laundrette and dry cleaners are available within a 500m walk.
No Pets
We’re really sorry but pets are not allowed to stay in Landgate Cottage. Trained assistance dogs are, of course, welcome but please do let us know in advance.
Baby Equipment
A cot and stair guard are available. Please let us know in advance if you would like to use them.

Of all of the four places we stayed in Europe during our vacation, this was by far our favorite! The house is in a perfect location and the back garden is just lovely - we would eat our dinner and drink wine out there each night. We really loved this place and hope to go back again.
Highly recommend! The cottage was lovely, spotlessly clean and warm for our arrival and as a family of four, the fully equipped kitchen and washing machine were both incredibly useful. we have fond memories of curling up by the open fire with a wine and a selection of DVDs - a great touch! This cottage has set the bar very high!
