Oasthouse Loft is a top-quality self-catering holiday home in a stunning rural location on our working farm in Northiam, near Battle, Hastings and Rye. For a historic holiday cottage in central Rye, we can offer Landgate Cottage, a cosy town house which looks out over the famous Landgate Arch and has been beautifully restored to retain its traditional period features.

Whether you want to surround yourself in silence deep in the countryside or explore the cobbled streets of the smugglers town of Rye, one of our holiday cottages will provide you with the perfect holiday break.

Oasthouse Loft

The Oasthouse Loft offers some of the most spectacular countryside in The Garden of England. With 360-degree panoramic views across pristine grass and woodland, on the border of Kent and East Sussex, near the village of Northiam, it is easily accessible yet perfectly secluded.

With a modern layout and design, the self-catering Oasthouse Loft sleeps two (with the option of good a quality double sofa-bed) and has a wood-burning stove that makes it cosy and characterful as a country cottage. Equally captivating in all four seasons, this is the perfect location for a romantic weekend or week away, any time of the year.

Landgate Cottage

Landgate Cottage is a recently refurbished 15th century terraced town house, looking directly onto Rye’s famous Landgate Arch. Resting on the edge of the ancient citadel, this is one of the most picturesque locations in Rye and the perfect base for exploring the town.The snug self-catered cottage has been fitted to an exceptionally high standard with modern and practical appliances, while carefully retaining its original period features. It sleeps four, in two generous double beds or the option of two full length but slightly narrow single beds measuring 30 inches or 76 cms wide. All in light and airy bedrooms overlooking the Landgate itself.
